The Human Resources Generalist is a key support member of the Human Resources team, providing excellent customer service to the public and hospital staff. This role performs a variety of administrative, coordination, and support functions to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the organization’s Human Resources department.
The Human Resources Generalist assists in the administration, coordination, and ongoing support of HR programs and activities, including but not limited to recruiting processes, benefits support, personnel actions, employment records, reference checks, and other HR functions as assigned. In addition, this position supports and coordinates hospital-wide initiatives such as employee recognition programs, longevity awards, and HR-sponsored events, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
This role is expected to be flexible and prepared to assist with both routine HR administrative duties and coordination-focused projects, including planning, organizing, and supporting events and special programs.

Skills:
1. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
2. Proficient with Microsoft 365.
3. Ability to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously and complete tasks on a timely basis.
4. Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn HR regulation and law.
5. Capable of working independently.
6. Excellent customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Proficient with or aptitude to learn human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications.
Minimum
Work Experience:
1. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a human resources, administrative, or customer service–focused role with exposure to core HR functions such as recruiting, benefits, payroll support, or employee records.

Bachelor’s Degree or 1-2 years of HR work related experience
