The
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is
a member of the Administrative Council
within Madisonhealth and actively engages with Madisonhealth’s Board of Trustees. The CFO is expected to ensure the provision of
financial services,
strategies,
and leadership that will enable Madisonhealth to achieve its
operational initiatives in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:

Administers
the general accounting, finance, patient business services, including
third-party reimbursement, and statistical reporting functions of Madisonhealth
in accordance with established policies and generally recognized accounting principles.

Responsible
for short and long-term financial planning, capital budgeting, revenue cycle
management and expense management.
·
Monitors,
interprets and analyzes Madisonhealth’s financial performance which includes
monthly financial presentations to executive team and board of trustees.

Assists
department leaders in the development of departmental yearly budgets. Recommends budget modifications as required.
·
Directs
the preparation of internal financial reports for annual financial auditing
purposes.
·
Develop
a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes a
minimum
cash threshold to meet operating needs. Provide strategic financial input and
leadership
on decision making issues affecting the organization.

Job Requirements / Education and
Experience
·
Master’s
Degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA (active or inactive) strongly preferred
·
10-15
years demonstrated progressive experience in financial management within a
healthcare setting
