Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are utilized in Residential, Supported Living, and in Habilitation Services to assist consumers by providing them with the minimal support necessary to ensure the greatest degree of personal choice and independence in daily living, community participation, educational and employment skills according to their Person-Centered Individual Support Plans (PC-ISP).
Ensures the operation of assigned caseload in accordance with agency mission and vision, Indiana Rules for Licensure, ICF/ID, and Medicaid Standards.
Position will work 36 hours but paid for 40 hours at base rate of $15.00/hour; 12 hours each overnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10pm to 10am or 9pm to 9am (or something similar); the weekend incentive of $1.00/hour will be included in all 36 hours; all benefits will calculate as a 40 hour employee (PTO and holiday); shifts could be at any of the 5 group homes with notification for location given at least 12 hours prior to shift start time; if any additional shift is picked up, it will be paid according to current agency pay practice. If all 36 hours are not worked or if approved benefit time is used the additional 4 hours will not be paid.
Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will oversee and support the healthcare needs of individuals receiving services. This position includes providing training, mentoring, and ongoing education to both new hires and current employees to ensure high-quality care and compliance with healthcare standards.
