Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are utilized in Residential, Supported Living, and in Habilitation Services to assist consumers by providing them with the minimal support necessary to ensure the greatest degree of personal choice and independence in daily living, community participation, educational and employment skills according to their Person-Centered Individual Support Plans (PC-ISP).
Requires a bachelor's degree in music therapy. Implements and conducts music therapy programs in accordance with the Code of Ethics set forth by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) and the mission of Bi-County Services, Inc.
Position will work 36 hours but paid for 40 at base rate of $14.50/hour; 12 hours each day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; the weekend incentive of $1.00/hour will include Friday hours; all benefits will calculate as a 40-hour employee (PTO and holiday). If any additional shifts are picked up, it will be paid according to current agency pay practice. If all 36 hours are not worked (or approved benefit time is used) the additional 4 hours will not be paid.
Responsible for the assessment, monitoring and oversight of health care services to meet the needs of Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver consumers as per the service definition of Wellness Coordination Services. Coordinates care with local healthcare providers to ensure the health needs of consumers receiving Wellness Coordination. Approximately 10 hours a week.
