Engineering - Construction Laborer - (PRN)

Madisonhealth is seeking a General Construction Laborer. The General Construction Laborer supports the Engineering Department in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional healthcare environment. Responsibilities include painting, patching, ceiling tile replacement, wall and sheetrock repair, and assisting with large and small projects such as room renovations and furniture builds. This role plays a critical part in construction renovations and maintaining hospital aesthetics while adhering to infection prevention, safety regulations, and patient care standards and to deliver work on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Classification: PRN
Monday-Friday - Up to 23 hours a week.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of minor building repairs and maintenance in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to perform painting, patching, and small-scale construction tasks.
- Ability to follow safety and infection prevention protocols.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain hospital-quality aesthetics.
- Ability to collaborate with the Engineering team and to meet project deadlines.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Previous experience in painting, patching, and minor building repairs required.
- Experience in healthcare facility maintenance preferred.
Minimum Education:
- High school education or GED.
