Nestled between the Snake River, the majestic Rockies, and ancient lava flows of Yellowstone, Madison County offers a bit of home for everyone. Within 40 minutes, you can be snowmobiling through mountains on fresh powder in the winter, hiking glorious trails in the spring, fishing on world-renowned streams/rivers in the fall, and crowding Main Street during the summer for parades that bring the entire community together.
For those not inclined to pursue outdoor activities, South East Idaho provides a variety of cultural events including an International Dance Festival, Music in the Park events, art shows, museums, and a wide array of collegiate performances from local universities.
