We are seeking a results-driven Patient Financial Services Director with a proven track record of improving financial performance and operational efficiency. This role is critical in overseeing all revenue cycle functions, ensuring billing and collections are executed accurately, timely, and in full compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will bring measurable success in optimizing revenue workflows, reducing denials, accelerating cash flow, and leading high-performing teams to achieve consistently superior outcomes.
Duties
- Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, from patient registration to final payment collection.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve billing discrepancies and improve overall financial performance.
- Analyze revenue cycle metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage claims submissions, follow up on unpaid claims, and work with insurance companies to resolve issues.
- Provide training and support to staff on revenue cycle best practices and compliance requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and changes impacting revenue cycle operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in management roles within a revenue cycle environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on collaboration.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
