Human Resources-HR Specialist(FT)

The Human Resource Specialist works as a supportive HR team member providing excellent customer service to the public, hospital staff members, and the HR team.

· The Human Resource Specialist will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department.

· The specialist assists in maintaining and developing HR programs and functions including hospital-wide events, recruiting, benefits, employment records, references, personnel actions, longevity awards and other functions as needed.

 Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.

Required Skills:

1. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

2. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

3. Ability to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously and complete tasks on a timely basis.

4. Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn HR regulation and law.

5. Capable of working independently.

6. Excellent customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail.

7. Proficient with or aptitude to learn human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications.

Minimum Work Experience:

1. 1+ years in a customer service related field with an emphasis on HR processes.

Minimum Education:

1. Associates preferred. High School education accepted with previous experience in HR functions and customer service.
