Surgery-Registered Nurse-(FT)

The Perioperative Nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to patients having surgical intervention. The dimensions of practice range from preoperative assessment to intraoperative intervention on to postoperative evaluation. Incorporating current clinical knowledge with established nursing practice, he or she performs nursing intervention utilizing the nursing process. It is a practice designed to meet an individual’s needs through the nursing process, ensuring continuity of care during the surgical experience.

  • Full time
  • Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm, with call 4-5 times a month
  • Benefit eligible

Required Skills:

1. Knowledge of basic computer programs

2. CPR-BLS

3. ACLS within 6 months of hire

Minimum Work Experience:

1. Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care setting preferred

Minimum Education:

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

2. Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state of Idaho
