Madisonhealth is seeking a driven and detailed Surgical Technologist to provide direct and indirect patient care in the Surgical Services Units. The incumbent will assist with patient care in the operating room by performing routine and delegated duties according to the standards of practice and policies of the hospital and surgical services. Duties will include, but are not limited to, opening, arranging and handling supplies and instruments needed for surgical procedures; keeps accurate count of instruments, sponges and sharps used during surgical procedures, and assists with housekeeping functions to maintain cleanliness in the operating room in order to ensure a safe patient environment.

Schedule: Full time

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Completion of a formal accredited Surgical Technologist training program

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider

Required Skills:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills

• Ability to communicate written and verbally

• Proven problem solving and decision making skills

• Ability to work as a team and individually

• Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Word
