Engineer/Project Manager III
We are searching for an Engineer/PM III to join our team out of Grand Junction, CO! This position will support the business operations and project management team, as well as assume project manager duties from the Vice President of JGMS-GS.
Compensation: 90k-100k with a great benefits package!
Scope of Work
- Support with drawings and investigations, provide data for technical documentation, and inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with contract requirements and adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Review material submittals to ensure adherence to the scope and standards. Review and respond to contractor Requests for Information (RFIs). Track all project submittals, RFIs and other coordination communication.
- Provide input to support requests for new projects, including review of statements of work and technical documents for accuracy.
- Support the evaluation of project work sites as needed and submit basic written reports and required paperwork.
- Allocate resources efficiently to ensure project tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Evaluate project work sites, submit detailed written reports, and bring project quality issues to the attention of the client.
- Collaborate closely with on-site clients and subcontractors to understand their needs and expectations.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to provide project updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns (on-site and virtual).
- Build strong relationships with clients and teaming partners, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and integrate the efforts of subcontractors and teaming partners into the overall project plan, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to project goals.
- Ability to assist the bids and proposals team by leveraging project management expertise to develop accurate project scopes, timelines and resource estimates.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Supervise and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with 7 or more years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Several years of project management experience is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team is a must.
- Adaptability and resilience to handle changing project requirements and priorities.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and standard industry systems and software.
Background Check and Screenings
