Employee Health Nurse-(FT)

The employee health nurse functions closely with the human resource department with responsibilities in the areas of pre-employment and health assessments of employees, health promotion programs, education, and assisting in meeting all state and federal regulations that impact on Madison Memorial Hospital (MMH) employees and other healthcare workers.
- Schedule: Full time
- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm no holidays or weekends
Required Skills:
1. Ability to perform pre-employment and other health related screenings and document accordingly.
2. Ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of basic personnel policies and state/federal guidelines related to employee health and workman’s comp programs.
3. Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, vendors and the general public.
Minimum Work Experience:
1. 3 years clinical experience
2. 3 years’ experience in employee health or occupational health preferred
Minimum Education:
1. RN degree preferred
